Watamu is located on the east coast of Kenya, only 22 km from Malindi, offering an airport for domestic flights. Kenya is reached by flights arriving to Nairobi or Mombasa, about 150 km from Watamu. Unless you are heading for a safari in the central highlands, it is more convenient to land in Mombasa and then get to Watamu by taxi (approximately 2 hours by car at about 45 euros).
